Job summary

Captivation Software is seeking a mid level systems engineer to assist with daily responsibilities in support of a mission to protect the country. This role requires a Top Secret/SCI clearance with a favorable polygraph and U.S.

citizenship, and fourteen years of SE experience (or five additional years in lieu of a degree). Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and experience with Confluence/JIRA, requirements gathering, sprint planning, and customer/DevOps coordination.

Qualifications

• Fourteen (14) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Experience using Confluence and JIRA; requirements gathering and documentation; engaging with customers and developers; managing sprint planning and retrospectives; facilitating internal meetings; communicating status and priorities with customers; coordinating with DevOps to capture tasks in JIRA.

Captivation Software is looking for a mid level systems engineer who will be assisting with daily responsibilities.

Requirements

Security Clearance:

• Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen

Minimum Qualifications:

• Fourteen (14) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

• Understanding of or experience with Elasticsearch and Kibana dashboards
• Understanding of or experience with Grafana dashboards

• Annual Salary: $130,000 – $270,000 (Depends on the Years of Experience)
