Job summary

CyberCore Technologies seeks a System Engineer to support management of engineering and programmatic actions for an HPC project. The role requires a go-getter who can handle multiple concurrent activities and work with project teams to follow up on outstanding actions.

The position applies systems engineering principles across the full lifecycle and interfaces with government, program personnel, and senior executives to ensure technical integrity, quality, and deliverables across ISO/IEC 15288

Qualifications

• Applies systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement.
• Interacts with Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations, problems, issues or conflicts, and communicates with program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.
• Responsible for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables across ISO/IEC15288 process areas.

• Technical Process Area - Stakeholder Requirements Definition, Requirements Analysis, Architectural Design, Implementation, Integration, Verification, Transition, Validation, Operation, Maintenance, and Disposal.
• Project Process Area - Project Planning, Project Assessment and Control, Decision Management, Risk Management, and Measurement.
• Enterprise Process Area - Project Portfolio Management, Infrastructure Management, Lifecycle Model Management, Human Resource Management, and Quality Management.
• Agreement Process Area - Acquisition and Supply.

Job description

The System Engineer will support the management of engineering and programmatic actions for an HPC project. The role will require someone who is a \"go-getter\", and will be able to handle multiple concurrent activities and be willing to work with project teams to follow up on outstanding actions. A system engineering/technical background will benefit their understanding of the work and terminology to facilitate success in this role.

Applies systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement. Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts. Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives. Responsibility for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with one or more of the 25 process areas defined by ISO/IEC15288:

• Technical Process Area - Stakeholder Requirements Definition, Requirements Analysis, Architectural Design, Implementation, Integration, Verification, Transition, Validation, Operation, Maintenance, and Disposal;


• Project Process Area - Project Planning, Project Assessment and Control, Decision Management, Risk Management, and Measurement;


• Enterprise (Organizational Project-Enabling) Process Area - Project Portfolio Management, Infrastructure Management, Lifecycle Model Management, Human Resource Management, and Quality Management;
