Job summary

MACHINE LEARNING TECHNOLOGIES LLC is seeking a Systems Engineer in Trenton, NJ, for a 24-month engagement. The role requires extensive experience in Windows Server and Linux server administration in enterprise settings, plus Kubernetes and cloud platform administration.

The candidate will implement high availability, manage privileged access, and leverage automation tools to provision and operate servers across on-premises and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 7 years of experience administering Windows Server in enterprise environments.
• 7 years of experience administering Linux server operating systems (Red Hat, RHEL, SUSE, Ubuntu) in enterprise settings.
• 7 years experience with Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms.
• 7 years experience with server OS in public or private cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• 7 years implementing high availability configurations (clustering, failover, replication, backup/restore).
• 7 years configuring privileged and administrative access.
• 7 years using automation/configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform, PowerShell, Bash).
• 7 years applying security baselines and remediating vulnerabilities.
• 7 years using enterprise monitoring/alerting tools.
• 7 years administering virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere/ESXi, Hyper-V, Proxmox, Nutanix AHV, OpenShift Virtualization).

60 months of experience administering Kubernetes or an equivalent container orchestration platform, including cluster provisioning, component upgrades, and troubleshooting.

72 months of experience administering server operating systems hosted in a public or private cloud environment, such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud Platform.

72 months of experience implementing and maintaining high availability configurations for server operating systems, including clustering, failover, replication, or backup and restore.

72 months of experience configuring and administering privileged and administrative access

60 months of experience using infrastructure automation or configuration management tooling, such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform, PowerShell, or Bash, to provision or administer servers.

60 months of experience applying security baselines and remediating vulnerability scan
