Job summary

Axos Bank in San Diego, CA seeks a Systems Engineer to manage and monitor infrastructure, perform configurations, testing, and maintenance across VMware, Horizon, Citrix, and cloud environments. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and seven years of related experience, with hands-on work in VMware, Horizon VDI, Citrix, NetScaler, Nutanix, Hyper-V, HPE Nimble storage, and Azure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, with seven years of experience.
• Experience deploying and administering VMware infrastructure (ESXi, vCenter, clusters).
• Experience deploying Horizon VDI infrastructure and Citrix environments for scalability and high availability.
• Experience with Citrix NetScaler and load balancing; managing Nutanix AHV, AOS, and Microsoft Hyper-V infrastructure.
• Experience with HPE Nimble storage, SAN (Brocade) and SANnav, plus Ivanti for user virtualization.
• Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Azure administration (RBAC, VMs, networking).

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor all infrastructure and system installations, configurations, testing, and maintenance.
• Deploy and administer VMware infrastructure (ESXi, vCenter, clusters) and Horizon VDI.
• Design and deploy Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops for scalable, highly available environments.
• Deploy and administer Citrix NetScaler for load balancing and SSL offloading; integrate with Nutanix and Hyper-V.
• Utilize HPE Nimble and SAN hardware; configure storage arrays, snapshots, and replication.
• Manage AD, DNS, DHCP, Azure resources and RBAC in cloud/on‑premise environments.

Axos Bank seeks Systems Engineer in San Diego, CA, to manage and monitor all infrastructure and system installations, including configurations, testing, and maintenance. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, and seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in a related occupation: Performing VMware Infrastructure Deployment and Administration including installing and configuring ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, and managing clusters. Performing Horizon VDI Infrastructure Deployment and Administration including deploying VMware Horizon Connection Servers and Composer. Designing and deploying Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops including designing multi-site Citrix environments for scalability a high availability. Designing, deploying, and administering Citrix NetScaler (ADC) including deploying NetScaler for load balancing, SSL offloading, and working with Nutanix AHV and AOS Deployment and Administration & Microsoft Hyper-V Infrastructure Deployment and Administration. Utilizing HPE Nimble Storage Administration and Deployment including configuring Nimble Storage arrays, volumes, snapshots, and replication. Utilizing HPE SAN (Brocade) & HPE SANnav Switch Implementation and Configuration. Performing Ivanti User Virtualization Deployment and Administration including deploying Ivanti for user profile management in non-persistent VDI environments. Performing Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP Deployment and Administration, creating and managing AD domains, OUs, users, and group policies. Working with Microsoft Azure Administration, managing Azure resources including VMs, storage, networking, and RBAC, configuring Azure Active Directory, subscriptions, and resource groups. Offered salary is between 121,243.00 and $130,000.00 per year.
