About the Opportunity
- As a Telecommunications Provisioning Specialist / Circuit Actions Engineer, you'll play a critical role in delivering and maintaining telecom transport services across government and defense networking environments.

What You’ll Do:
- Manage end-to-end circuit actions, including new services, upgrades, modifications, rehomes, renewals, disconnects, and restorations.
- Translate network requirements into accurate circuit orders, ensuring bandwidth, diversity, demarcation, Layer 1 interfaces, and site delivery requirements are properly addressed.
- Submit and track DISA Storefront and other telecom service requests while coordinating with government organizations, commercial carriers, and internal engineering teams.
- Coordinate installation, testing, troubleshooting, and service activation, resolving issues such as incorrect node delivery, interface or cross-connect errors, failed testing, and provider discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate circuit inventories, provisioning records, technical documentation, and status trackers while supporting outage response and service restoration activities.
What You’ll Bring:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 10+ years of experience supporting telecommunications provisioning, circuit actions, or telecom transport within DoD/DoW, defense, or government networking environments.
What Sets You Apart:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
- Master's Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
- Experience supporting telecom provisioning, transport services, circuit actions, or network operations in a government, defense, or mission-critical environment.
- Knowledge of telecom transport services and interfaces such as Ethernet, MPLS, optical/fiber, SONET/legacy transport, and other Layer 1 handoff types.
- Ability to interpret technical requirements, service orders, circuit IDs, engineering guidance, topology diagrams, demarcation details, and provisioning records.
- Familiarity with router, switch, optical transport, and encryption device connectivity relates to circuit activation, troubleshooting, and service turn-up.
- Ability to troubleshoot service delivery and activation problems including loss of signal, handoff mismatches, cross-connect issues, patching errors, and configuration readiness gaps.
- Ability to coordinate across multiple military, government, contractor, and commercial organizations.
- Ability to analyze service delivery problems, drive corrective actions, and elevate effectively when providers miss milestones or technical requirements.
- Skill in maintaining detailed records, status trackers, inventory data, test results, and provisioning documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with providers, technical teams, government program offices, and supported commands.
- Familiarity with DISA Marketplace launch and transition plans.
- Strong communication skills and documentation.
- Ability to interact with senior customer organizations and personnel.
