Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States seeks a high-level Systems Engineer/Architect to lead cloud initiatives within our Architecture team. You will own technical aspects of programs, drive integration, and sustain geospatial cloud deployments.

Candidates should have TS clearance, extensive AWS/cloud experience, and a background in cybersecurity and accreditation. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential to coordinate across engineering teams and ensure program success.

Qualifications

• Requires BS with 12+ years or MS with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in AWS/Cloud technologies.
• Cyber Security experience including accreditation.
• Ability to identify opportunities and drive improvement.
• Ability to develop, document, and implement transition plans.
• Knowledge of Systems, Architectural, SW Development and SW Sustainment Practices.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Requirements

• Top Secret Clearance (with ability to acquire SCI and CI Poly upon hire)
• Typically requires BS and over 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10+ years of prior relevant experience
• Experience in AWS/Cloud technologies
• Cyber Security experience including accreditation
• Ability to identify opportunities and drive improvement
• Ability to develop, document, and implement transition plans
• Knowledge of Systems, Architectural, SW Development and SW Sustainment Practices
• Proactive self-starter demonstrates a positive, willing attitude and excellent oral and written communication skills
• Organizational Skills: Can plan and prioritize work. Follow tasks to their logical conclusion and make sure that everything has been done to the right standard. Good attention to detail.
