Foxconn Industrial Internet - FII is seeking a Systems Engineer in Houston, onsite. You will support, maintain, and secure server operations across Windows and Linux platforms, ensure identity management, and monitor infrastructure performance to scale with business needs.

The role emphasizes incident response, after-hours support, and collaboration with the Systems Operations team to sustain a robust IT environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 7 years in IT infrastructure with 4+ years VPS and backup support.
• Experience in Level 2 Infra Incident Management & troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with Windows Server and Linux administration.
• Knowledge of AD, DNS, DC, DHCP, NTP, and certificates.

Responsibilities

• Maintain system security policies.
• Administer Windows and Linux systems.
• Troubleshoot level 2 infra incidents and management.
• Monitor system endpoints and developments.
• Maintain VPS and backups.
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, NTP and DC for secure access.
• Utilize SCOM, SCCM, and Zabbix to monitor performance.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.

Systems Engineer

Location: Houston, TX 77064 (onsite)

As a Systems Engineer, you’ll be a part of Systems Operations team, supporting, maintaining system performance, troubleshooting, and implementing solutions. This role focuses on day-to-day server operations and security policies. Your expertise in virtual private servers, system administration, and cloud services, will support and strengthen security stance, and scale infrastructure to meet growing business needs.

You will be responsible for:

• Maintain System security Policies
• Windows and Linux systems administration
• Troubleshoot level 2 Infra Incident & management
• System endpoint monitor developments
• Maintain virtual private server, backup
• Maintain Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, NTP and DC to ensure secure, reliable access and identity management.
• UtilizeSCOM, Microsoft Configurationmanager, Zabbixto monitor performance
• Response to after-hours emergencies as needed

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
• 7 years of IT infrastructure experience, with minimum of 4 years supporting virtualprivate server and backup.
• Experience in Level 2 Infra Incident Management & troubleshooting
• Proficiency with Windows Server and Linux Administration
