Job summary

Actalent seeks a Systems Engineer for a cleared program in Grand Rapids, MI to manage requirements, traceability, and compliance documentation onsite in a SCIF. You will develop RTMs and ensure alignment with certification standards while contributing to system documentation and verification activities.

The ideal candidate has intermediate Cameo experience, can translate technical specs to certification needs, and collaborates across teams to maintain traceability throughout the system lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Security Clearance is required at time of hire.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field (or equivalent).
• Intermediate Cameo experience including requirements modeling and traceability.
• Experience in a requirements database and trace environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and certification documents.
• Experience developing traceability matrices and compliance documentation.
• Familiarity with systems engineering processes and lifecycle methodologies.
• Experience supporting DoD or other cleared programs.
• Familiarity with verification & validation (V&V) processes.
• MBSE experience and understanding of certification frameworks.

Responsibilities

Job Title: Systems Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented Systems Engineer to support a cleared program, focusing on requirements management, traceability, and compliance documentation. The ideal candidate will have intermediate experience with Cameo, particularly in requirements traceability, and the ability to interpret and align technical specifications with certification standards. This role requires active participation in the development and validation of system requirements, as well as contributing to system documentation and compliance efforts.

Responsibilities

Work Environment

This position requires working onsite in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) located in Grand Rapids, MI. Per diem is offered for eligible individuals.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Grand Rapids, MI.

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $80.00/hr.
