Responsibilities
  • Develop, manage, and maintain project requirements, ensuring traceability from stakeholder needs through design, implementation, and operations
  • Participate in and facilitate design reviews, ensuring compliance with project requirements, codes, and standards
  • Support project closeout activities, including verification and validation, final documentation, as-built records, and lessons learned
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, CM analysts, and stakeholders to ensure systems integration
  • Contribute to the creation, revision, and maintenance of SE governance documents, including the SEMP, SEP, and SE Handbook
  • Standardize processes for requirements management, design review, risk management, and V&V across the enterprise
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure governance aligns with organizational goals and industry best practices
  • Support training and rollout of SE processes to other engineers and project teams
  • Work cross-functionally with project managers, engineering disciplines, operations, and executive leadership
  • Participate in enterprise SE working groups and process improvement initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education/Training
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Architecture Engineering, or related technical field preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of professional experience in system engineering or closely related engineering roles
  • Demonstrated experience with SE lifecycle processes, including requirements development, design reviews, verification & validation, and project closeouts
  • Strong understanding of SE standards such as INCOSE SE Handbook or ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288
Preferred Experience
  • Experience developing or maintaining governance documents such as SEMP, SEP, or SE Handbook
  • Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and practices
  • Experience coordinating with diverse technical and operational stakeholders
  • Experience with metrics-driven process improvement
Security
  • Must be a US citizen
  • Candidate must be in possession of a minimum DoD issued Secret Clearance
Physical Requirements
  • Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
  • Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
  • Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)
  • Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time

Salary: $100,000 - 129,000
