Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an experienced Desktop/Azure Virtual Desktop administrator to manage the Azure Endpoint Manager and Intune MDM environments in Charlotte, NC. The role involves maintaining Azure AVD deployments, updating images, and collaborating with other departments to tailor VDI solutions for internal teams.

Ideal candidates will have 7+ years of desktop management experience, strong PowerShell skills, and familiarity with Entra ID, SharePoint, and Lenovo hardware.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience managing desktop and end-user compute environments.
• Deploying, maintaining, and expanding Azure AVD.
• Deploying and maintaining Azure Intune.
• Deploying and maintaining Azure AD/Entra ID.
• Maintaining Windows operating systems across devices.
• PowerShell scripting required.
• Management of Lenovo laptop hardware.
• Experience or familiarity with SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• -Ideally proficient with Nerdio AVD Enterprise management.


• -Refresh laptop/desktop and AVD images on regular bases.


• -Work with other departments in the creation of AVD Desktops that fit their needs.


• -Trouble shoot desktop and AVD issues that are escalated from the Service Desk Support team.


• -Work assigned service tickets.


• -Keep up to date on windows operating systems.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
