Job summary

KH Aerospace in Hayward, CA seeks a hands-on Test Engineer - Systems/Electrical to support development, integration, verification, and validation of electrical and interconnected systems across the UAS family. This role spans hardware, embedded software, power, and avionics.

You will design test plans and fixtures, execute functional and stress tests, analyze results, troubleshoot, and document conclusions with traceability to engineering requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering or related field.
• Demonstrated experience testing complex engineered systems involving hardware, software, and interfaces.
• Ability to work onsite in Hayward, California and travel periodically if required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test procedures for electrical, avionics, power, and integrated system functionality.
• Develop test plans, test cases, test methods, and acceptance criteria from engineering requirements.
• Design test fixtures, harnesses, and instrumentation setups for repeatable validation.
• Perform system-level functional, integration, performance, regression, and stress testing on prototype and production hardware.
• Analyze test results to assess performance, reliability, and boundary conditions; document findings with traceability.
• Collaborate with electrical, software, systems, mechanical, and manufacturing teams throughout development.
