The Aerospace Corporation seeks a Systems Director – Proliferated Systems to lead an Aerospace program office and ETG teams across design, acquisition, production, and test of a large distributed architecture.

This in-person role in Chantilly, VA requires a strong engineering background, 12+ years, TS/SSBI/SCI clearance, and a track record of leading high-performance, cross-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or related technical field.
• 12+ years of progressive technical experience in space systems and systems engineering.
• Experience leading high-performance teams in complex, multi-disciplinary environments.
• Ability to communicate with customers, SETA, Aerospace, and contractor personnel.

Responsabilités

• Lead an Aerospace program office and ETG team overseeing design, production, integration, test, and operations of distributed architecture.
• Identify opportunities to engage with customers and contractors on fast-paced production programs.
• Assess full technical architecture and design across multiple programs.
• Characterize risks and present options to enable informed decisions.
• Mentor team members in leadership and executive presentation skills.
