Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering
• 8-15 years of post-graduate hands-on experience developing Java applications and/or responsive web applications
• Java and/or web-based application development using JavaScript/TypeScript

Responsibilities

• Define, plan and build complex applications using Java and JavaScript/TypeScript (UI/UX translations, high-fidelity prototypes)
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code using best practices

• Work with end users and the development teams to define,planand build complexapplications(typically using Java andJavascript/Typescript).

• Translation of therequirements,UI/UX designs and high-fidelity prototypesto produce visual elements of the applicationand desired behavior.

• Writing well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.

• Promoting strict code peer review practices as well as testing and validation to ensure high-quality coding standards.

• Maintenance of software applications throughout the lifecycle of the product

Qualifications

Required:

Preferred:

• Experience developing applications with Oracle/SQL databasesusing programming languages such asJava,JavaScript/Typescript, and React

• Experience or knowledge of Agile development methodologies

• A solid understanding of how applications work including security, session management, and best development practices

• Experience in DevOps CI/CDpipelinesisadvantageous

• Experience with automated testing,e.g.Selenium,jUnit.
