Job summary

AMD is seeking a Systems Design Engineer to research, design, develop, and test OS-level software, compilers, and distribution software for semiconductor operations. You will design algorithms for tiling and mapping quantized ML workloads on specialized hardware and optimize compilation for performance and efficiency.

The role requires a Master’s degree and expertise in ML frameworks, compilers, DL, and GPU architectures, with experience in Python/C++.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field.
• Experience can be gained through coursework, research, or internship.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, develop, and test OS-level software, compilers, and related systems.
• Develop and optimize software for semiconductor platforms and ML workloads.
• Analyze hardware compatibility and influence hardware design where needed.
• Create unit and integration tests for compiler and software products.
