A leading aerospace and defense company in Tucson, AZ, is seeking a System Design Engineer to develop system architectures, perform requirements decomposition, and establish verification techniques. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and offers competitive salary between $57,200 and $108,800. Ideal candidates have experience with Matlab and/or C++ and skills in analytical problem-solving and communication. This position is 100% on-site, and U.S. citizenship is necessary for security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
• 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop system architectures that meet system performance and interface requirements.
• Perform trade studies on the best solutions to develop the system.
• Establish verification and validation techniques for requirements.
