Job summary

Benchmark Electronics Inc. in Minnesota’s Winona area is seeking an entry-level assembler for systems integration. You will prepare products for assembly, verify documentation, and assemble subassemblies while following routings and instructions.

This role supports a 24/7 global operation with potential overtime. Safety-sensitive position with pre-employment drug screen and comprehensive benefits. Candidates need a high school diploma and good manual/technical aptitude to contribute to quality

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 1+ years of basic SI assembly experience.
• Good component recognition skills.
• Understanding of basic computer skills.
• Effective interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrate high attention to detail.
• Ability to support a 24/7 global business operation as required.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Accesses the appropriate paperwork and necessary drawings for each job assignment.
• Verifies kits, enters Batch lot information, package and label accessory items according to documented instructions.
• Uses manufacturing routings and process instructions under close supervision.
• May assemble a variety of systems integration subassemblies.
• Enters data into Process Feedback System (PFS) and links subassemblies to final unit.
• Build subassemblies and add labels per manufacturing instructions and schematic drawings.
• Perform F-cert function to ensure final units have passed through all necessary operations.
• May assist manufacturing engineering in basic prototype and pre-production builds.
