Job summary

Essent Group Ltd. in Radnor, PA is hiring a Title Systems Architect/Developer to design and build solutions for the Title business.

This on-site role involves leading in projects, drafting architectural plans, and integrating new cloud and AI technologies into the title technology platform. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a computer related field or equivalent experience. Masters preferred
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Java, Python, C, Rust and C#
• Knowledge of mortgage insurance industry and data exchange standards (e.g., EDI, MISMO, Fannie Mae, DU, XML, JSON)
• Experience with Mortgage Title technologies a plus
• Ability to use configuration management software

Responsibilities

• Develop applications, programs, and user interfaces based on technical design specifications for custom COTs and fully customized solutions to support the Title business
• Research and recommend new cloud and AI technologies to support the business objectives of the Title division
• Document technical design specifications for programs and data structures based on business requirements for Title systems
• Develop unit test plans and cases for programs and applications
• Educate users on capabilities and use of current platforms and new technologies as they are produced
• Develop integration/Systems test plans and test cases for program and applications
• Work with team members to develop plan and deliver programs that integrate seamlessly into the overall architecture and title technology platform
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve problems within application software
• Develop project plans, architectural designs, and progress reports

Title: Title Systems Architect/Developer

Location: Radnor, PA (Fully on-site)

Summary

Solution design and develop procedures and systems that solve complex business problems and convert these procedures into applications and programs required for computer solutions. Will be asked to occasionally perform in a lead role on projects and to operate developed systems as necessary.

As a dynamic and resourceful professional, we will rely on you to perform the following duties:

• Develop applications, programs, and user interfaces based on technical design specifications for custom COTs and fully customized solutions to support the Title business

• Document technical design specifications for programs and data structures based on business requirements for Title systems

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a computer related field or equivalent experience. Masters preferred
• Ability to use configuration management software
• PC operating systems and tools
• Training in systems analysis, especially structured methods
• Good communication skills-oral and written
• Diagnostic and conceptual analysis skills
• Strong development, debugging and problem-solving skills
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Java, Python, C, Rust and C#
• Ability to quickly and accurately make decisions
• Capability to work effectively with othersWorking knowledge of relational databases, schema design and use of associated tools
• Linux operating systems and tools
• Project management and time management principles
• Knowledge of mortgage insurance industry and data exchange standards (e.g., EDI, MISMO, Fannie Mae, DU, XML, JSON)
