A leading company in the government sector is seeking a Systems Application Support Analyst for a 1-year contract. This primarily remote position involves supporting IT Public Safety applications, managing vendor activities, and ensuring system implementations. Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years of experience in relevant fields.
• Proficiency in SQL query languages and database tools.
• Experience with network traffic monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Support project/product implementations for the IT Public Safety Team.
• Manage fire and police applications and conduct Information Security Application Reviews.
• Prepare weekly status reports and conduct application maintenance upgrades.

Skills

Experience in designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise systems

Understanding of systems implementation and software development principles

Experience supporting software applications at a technical level

Knowledge of firewalls, reverse proxies, and secure access methods

Troubleshooting web application accessibility issues

Windows System/Server Administration

Fusion HCR is hiring! 1 Year Contract – Systems Application Support Analyst, primarily a remote opportunity working with our client in the government space.

Responsibilities:

1. Support project/product implementations for the IT Public Safety Team
2. Manage fire and police applications including Everbridge, Securus, NetDMS, TeleStaff, FireRMS, Intime, Tableau, Forensic Advantage, and other custom applications
3. Interact with and oversee application vendor activities during system implementations
4. Coordinate with customers and other IT divisions on tasks such as firewall rules and software/hardware evaluations
5. Prepare weekly status reports and timesheets
6. Conduct Information Security Application Reviews
7. Upgrade SQL Database servers
8. Perform Application Monthly Maintenance Upgrades/Patches
9. Create and update Physical Data Flow Diagrams
10. Create and update technical documentation
11. Develop SSRS or Power BI reports
12. Write SQL queries
13. Migrate custom knowledge base systems

Skills:

Preferred Skills and Experience:

3. Knowledge of programming languages and environments such as C#, .NET, AzureDevOps
4. Experience with SharePoint page and list creation
5. Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for Windows
6. Experience with API monitoring and troubleshooting tools like Postman, Swagger, SoapUI
7. Experience working with government agencies and handling confidential data
