Danfoss Power Solutions seeks a System Application Engineer to apply engineering expertise in helping customers design machines. You will coordinate with a dynamic ecosystem of stakeholders to drive cross-functional priorities and enable scalable, sustainable solution readiness.

The role emphasizes building machine expertise, validating performance, and delivering technical recommendations to balance customer needs with engineering realities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Agricultural Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant engineering experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink or similar modeling platforms.
• Experience conducting machine testing and validation activities.
• Technical writing experience to create clear, actionable documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop machine expertise through structured observation of equipment behavior.
• Collaborate with customers to define and refine machine requirements.
• Evaluate hydraulic system performance via pressure data and feedback.
• Create technical recommendations balancing customer expectations and engineering reality.
• Lead multidisciplinary efforts to enhance machine performance through subsystem alignment.
• Ensure machine solutions achieve harmonious operation across hydraulic, electronic, mechanical and conceptual domains.
• Analyze performance trends to distinguish normal variation from unusual variation.
