Job summary

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience with Maximo 7.5 and/or 7.6.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Proficiency in SQL, XML, and Java.
  • Hands-on experience with Maximo development tools and applications, including Application Designer and BIRT.
  • Experience with database configuration and cron-based scheduling.
  • Experience with bug and conflict resolution.

Responsibilities

Job Overview

RL Canning is seeking an experienced Systems Application Analyst (Tririga) to join our IT team, supporting both client and internal project teams for Buildings and Grounds. The Maximo Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Analyst will act as a Maximo System Administrator, responsible for writing and modifying Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools (BIRT) reports, troubleshooting Maximo application errors, configuring Application Designer, and managing cron tasks.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $110,00.00 to $115,000.00 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package detailed in the Benefits Offered section of the job description. The salary wage offered within this range will be influenced by factors such as work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. In this role, you will
  • Perform configuration management for the Maximo Enterprise Asset Management CMMS system in a Maximo 7.x environment.
  • Support and resolve deficiencies within the Maximo CMMS system.
  • Monitor Maximo CMMS system performance, troubleshoot and resolve issues, and support and maintain multiple Maximo environments.
  • Perform maintenance, configuration, and troubleshooting for IBM WebSphere Server.
  • Manage database structures by monitoring and adjusting internal structures (tuning) as required.
  • Define, establish, and perform regular backups of designated databases.
  • Participate in planning, designing, creating, installing, customizing, upgrading, and maintaining databases to meet defined requirements.
  • Perform upgrades of databases and software to new release levels.
  • Document databases and deployed applications.
  • Provide training for new users or new application products.
  • Perform DoD database security technical implementation and documentation for Oracle databases and IBM WebSphere.
  • Assist clients with Maximo user account-related issues.
  • Perform additional tasks as necessary to support and achieve business objectives.
For this role, you will need
  • 2+ years of experience with Maximo 7.5 and/or 7.6.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in SQL, XML, and Java.
  • Hands-on experience with Maximo development tools and applications, including Application Designer and BIRT.
  • Experience with database configuration and cron-based scheduling.
  • Experience with bug and conflict resolution.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Maximo.
  • Experience documenting processes and procedures.
