Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. in Huntsville seeks a Systems Analyst II to support the MDA Chief Engineer, transforming how MBSE is used to replace document-driven engineering. You will capture and develop system models and coordinate with internal and external teams to advance future engineering efforts.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, 3+ years of relevant experience, and an active Secret clearance. Proficiency with MBSE tools and experience in interface/interoperability domains are required,

Job description

Worker Type Regular Job Description AV is looking for a highly talented Systems Analyst II to join our team! In this role you will support the MDA Chief Engineer (MDA/CE) in transforming the way in which the agency approaches engineering. The ideal candidate has strong experience working with MBSE tools and is interested in utilizing those tools to help move the agency away from document-driven engineering. Job Description: Assist with capturing and developing new system models to become the backbone for how MDA will approach future engineering efforts. Leverage your skills with a variety of Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools. Coordinate with internal and external teams to collaborate on models.

Required
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • Strong MBSE experience.
  • Ability to excel in a team setting.
  • Experience with Interface or Interoperability engineering domains.
Desired
  • Expertise in MBSE Tools (SysML, Cameo, MathWorks Simulink, MATLAB, Visio, ModelCenter, etc.).
  • MDA Experience.
  • Expertise in command and control (C2), data transport, Position, Navigation and Timing (PNT), or interoperability.
ITAR Requirement
