Job summary

Beacon Health System seeks an Application Support Coordinator to oversee assigned computer applications and coordinate related projects. You will troubleshoot, document issues, train end-users, and liaison with end-user departments and the IS team to implement solutions.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in CS/IS or equivalent and at least two years of related experience, with strong analytical and communication skills to ensure quality outcomes within Beacon’s standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of progressively responsible experience in a related support area.
• Experience with Beacon software/hardware products preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate responsibilities and projects for defined support areas for computer applications.
• Provide ongoing application/system support per department policies.
• Assist in performing system tests and analyzing test results.
• Prepare specifications for new systems with end-users and IS staff.
• Contribute to projects by completing assigned tasks.
• Maintain documentation per policies.
• Follow standards to ensure quality work.
