Job summary

Peoples Gas in Tampa, FL is seeking a Systems Analyst to develop software of moderate complexity based on specifications and provide primary and/or secondary support for applications. You will participate on the Application Development and Support team and may serve as Technical Lead on small projects.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience, 2 years in systems analysis, strong communication and documentation skills, and proficiency with Microsoft

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with related IT experience.
• 2 years of experience in systems analysis, design, and development.
• In lieu of degree, extensive years of relevant work experience may be considered.
• Strong written and oral communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop software of moderate complexity based on specifications.
• Provide primary and/or secondary support for applications.
• Participate on Application Development and Support teams.
• May serve as Technical Lead on small projects.
• Adhere to project plans and deliver required documentation.
