Qualifications

• Six years of professional experience in the design, installation, and operation of programs for electronic data processing equipment and/or in the design and implementation of systems for electronic data processing applications.
• Or possession of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and two years of the above-mentioned professional experience.
• Professional experience refers to analytical, evaluative work with authority to act and make decisions.

Responsibilities

• Plans and conducts studies of operations relative to development or revision of procedures.
• Conducts feasibility studies with cost estimates for data processing program adoption.
• Develops studies to determine effectiveness of programs and suggests improvements.
• Participates in conferences with administrators to discuss plans and results.
• Prepares charts, programs, and instructions illustrating data processing procedures.
