Job summary

AccruePartners is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst/Functional Consultant to join a Greensboro-area manufacturing client. You will serve as the桥 between Operations and IT on the D365 platform, shaping configuration and improvements for inventory, procurement, production planning, and warehouse workflows.

You will lead workshops, translate needs into functional specs, and coordinate UAT across sites, delivering enhancements with tangible impact on planning, visibility, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Business Analyst, Functional Consultant, or similar role in manufacturing or supply chain systems.
• Hands-on experience configuring D365 FO, with focus on operations modules.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory, production planning, warehouse operations, and order fulfillment.
• Proven ability to write functional specifications, document processes, and lead UAT/releases.
• Able to explain complex concepts clearly to operational stakeholders across sites.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the functional owner for operations modules within D365 Finance & Operations.
• Lead requirements workshops, translating business needs into specs and acceptance criteria.
• Configure and support D365 processes in inventory, procurement, and production planning.
• Develop test scripts, coordinate UAT, and validate releases across multiple sites.

• Strong working knowledge of processes such as procurement, inventory, production planning, warehouse operations, and order fulfillment
• Proven experience writing functional specifications, documenting process flows, and leading UAT and release activities
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to operational stakeholders and manage competing priorities across sites and business units
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Information Systems, Business, or a related field; equivalent experience considered
