A growing organization in Boston is seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Functional Consultant to lead solution design, process optimization, and delivery across complex Supply Chain and Warehouse Management environments. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast‑moving operational settings and enjoys partnering closely with business leaders to turn real‑world challenges into scalable, system‑driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead functional design, configuration, and deployment of D365 F&O Supply Chain and Warehouse Management capabilities.
• Facilitate workshops with Operations, IT, and Finance stakeholders to capture requirements and translate them into actionable solution designs.
• Optimize warehouse processes such as inbound/outbound flows, inventory controls, mobile device workflows, and advanced WMS features.
• Collaborate with Finance teams to ensure alignment between operational processes and financial postings, cost controls, and reporting structures.
• Produce high‑quality functional documentation, test scripts, training materials, and support guides.
• Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, identifying opportunities for automation, standardization, and continuous improvement.

Required Experience

• Strong hands‑on experience with Dynamics 365 F&O (or AX) in Supply Chain, Inventory, and Warehouse Management modules.
• Proven track record delivering multi‑site or complex operational implementations.
• Ability to lead workshops, challenge assumptions, and guide stakeholders toward best‑practice processes.
• Solid understanding of cross‑functional impacts across Procurement, Production, Sales, and Master Planning.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting or implementing Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, Costing).
• Exposure to integrations, ISVs, or Power Platform tools.
• Background in manufacturing, distribution, or high‑volume warehousing environments.
