PAE Government Services Inc. seeks a Systems Analyst to gather requirements from government staff, translate them into system designs, and lead testing and documentation across on-premises and cloud environments.
The role may include leadership of junior staff and collaboration with an in-house Analytics and AI lab for eDiscovery solutions. The responsibilities include defining specifications, data validation, reporting findings, and delivering training.
The Systems Analyst position may work directly with Government staff and/or under the direction of the Contract IT Manager, Systems Manager, Senior Systems Analyst, or Lead Project Manager. The role involves gathering information from the COR, Government Case Managers, and trial staff to define system and project requirements and to design systems to meet those requirements. The analyst translates functional requirements into system designs, specifies data elements and validation procedures, and outlines data capture and conversion methods. The role includes testing software, preparing sample data for tests, and presenting findings and specifications in formal reports and oral presentations. Responsible for developing systems documentation and providing user and technical documentation and training for systems developed. The analyst consults with Government staff and contractor teams to ensure understanding of objectives, identify problems, and suggest improvements. The position may also provide technical leadership or supervision to lower-level personnel and may act as a project team lead when needed. The role requires reporting progress to Government staff and superiors and participating in building an in-house Analytics and AI lab to provide solutions for legal teams with complex data. This includes building solutions with OIT support using technologies related to eDiscovery data capture, transcription, language processing, and document review/privilege review, leveraging on-premises and cloud environments as available. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week).
Compensation: $69,000 – $104,000. The listed compensation range is a good-faith estimate at the time of posting and may vary based on job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, internal equity, market data, applicable agreements, and relevant laws.
