Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. is seeking a Systems Administrator to manage servers, networks, and user systems, ensuring security and reliability. The role troubleshoots issues, implements upgrades, and collaborates with teams to keep IT operations running smoothly.

Starting salary ranges from $70,000 to $92,500 annually, based on experience, education, and certifications. Occasional after-hours support may be required to maintain system uptime and handle outages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of system & infrastructure administration experience.
• Experience managing Windows and/or Linux server environments.

Responsibilities

• Configure, administer, and maintain enterprise systems including servers, networks, storage, and user accounts.
• Perform regular data backups, disaster recovery testing, and business continuity procedures.
• Apply system updates, patches, and security fixes to maintain stability and compliance.
• Monitor performance, availability, and capacity; resolve issues proactively.
• Provide advanced technical support to end users and document changes for compliance.
