The starting wage ranges from $70,000 to $92,500 per year, with potential after-hours support and a focus on documenting configurations and processes for compliance and knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred; equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience will be considered.
• 3-5 years of experience in system & infrastructure administration or related IT role required.
• Experience managing Windows and/or Linux server environments.

Responsibilities

• Configure, administer, and maintain enterprise systems including servers, networks, storage, and user accounts to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Perform regular data backups, disaster recovery testing, and business continuity procedures to safeguard organizational data and minimize downtime.
• Implement and manage system updates, patches, and security fixes to maintain stability, compliance, and protection against vulnerabilities.
• Proactively monitor system performance, availability, and capacity, identifying and resolving issues before they impact operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, and network problems, providing timely support for both users and critical systems.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and changes to support compliance and knowledge transfer.
• Provide advanced technical support to end users, resolving escalated IT issues and offering guidance on best practices.
• Collaborate with senior IT staff to design and implement system improvements, infrastructure upgrades, and emerging technologies.
• Support IT security initiatives, including access management, monitoring, and audit requirements to ensure regulatory and organizational compliance.
