Job summary

Amentum's Data & Systems team at NASA Glenn is seeking a Systems Administrator to administer, implement, and maintain operating systems and related software ensuring performance and reliability.

You will establish operational standards, troubleshoot issues, support system users, and ensure hardware and software compatibility across the TFOME contract at the NASA Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, OH.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or 10+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer, develop, test, and maintain operating systems and storage.
• Enforce standards for operations to ensure compatibility.
• Troubleshoot software, OS, and networking issues.
• Schedule backups and perform data recovery as needed.
• Plan system upgrades and migrations; coordinate test-to-prod moves.
• Automate tasks using scripts and tools.
• Provide user support and ensure security policies are followed.
