Job summary

RELI Group, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Systems Administrator to oversee enterprise IT systems, ensuring availability, security, and performance. The role includes daily maintenance, user support, and collaboration on IT projects to strengthen government-focused infrastructure.

The ideal candidate brings 3–5+ years in system administration, strong AD/Exchange expertise, and experience with virtualization and backups, with on-site work in Windsor Mill, MD.

Qualifications

• Must be onsite in Windsor Mill, MD, 5 days a week.
• 3-5+ years of experience in system administration and helpdesk support.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange/O365, DNS, DHCP, and group policy management.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting Tier 2 IT issues across hardware, software, and networking.
• Experience with virtualization platforms and backup solutions.
• Familiarity with IT ticketing systems and remote support tools.
• Strong communication skills and a user-focused mindset.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, ITIL) are a plus

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and monitor corporate systems including servers (Windows/Linux), Active Directory, Exchange/O365, and virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Perform routine system maintenance, patch management, and backups.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and group policies in Active Directory.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Tier 2 hardware, software, and network issues escalated from the helpdesk.
• Support onboarding/offboarding processes including provisioning accounts, hardware, and software.
• Monitor system performance and implement performance tuning and resource optimization.
• Assist with IT projects, system upgrades, and infrastructure improvements.
• Maintain documentation for systems, procedures, and configurations.
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies and assist in audits as required.
• Provide support for remote users, VPN, and mobile device management (MDM).
