Job summary

THOR Solutions is seeking a Systems Administrator to support a DHS IT program in Yorktown, VA. The role focuses on cloud data management, information systems operations, and governance, with on-site work at USCG TRACEN.

The ideal candidate has a 4+ year background in system administration, a bachelor’s degree in IT or related field, strong communication skills, and experience securing and maintaining government information systems; TS/SCI clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT or related discipline.
At least four (4) years of system administration experience supporting government information systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
Knowledge of data governance and data framework compliance.
Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Conduct system administration duties to support cybersecurity requirements.
Troubleshoot and replace workstations, telecommunications, and peripheral equipment.
Assist users with account access tickets and resolution of access issues.
Inspect and track IT equipment in controlled spaces per guidance.
Assist users with annual security training requirements.
Maintain system availability, integrity, and security across sites.
