Job summary

FIS Management Services, LLC seeks a senior Systems Administrator/Unity Application Engineer to maintain and deploy Unity-based services in Jacksonville, FL. You will interface with Development, PMs, Professional Services, Network, Security, and Server OS teams to ensure performance and reliability across UAT, pre-prod, and production environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer and Information Science or related field.
• Five years of progressively responsible experience with SQLServer and Unity-based applications.
• Experience with IDP/SSO, WAF for external security of Unity/UFI applications.
• Windows Server 2016/2019 administration and Windows security.
• Experience with IIS and Apache (reverse proxy) for Unity-related apps.
• Experience with load-balanced environments to support high availability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, deploy and review performance analysis for new UI/Services product offering.
• Deploy Unity and surrounding products on new virtual servers.
• Troubleshoot with Wireshark and browser dev tools to diagnose issues.
• Open technical cases with hardware/software vendors to resolve problems.
• Provide feedback to Development on serviceability improvements.
• Work with engineers locally and overseas in UAT, pre-prod and prod environments.
• Perform disaster recovery testing/planning.

FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Systems Administrator Seniors- Unity Application Engineer in Jacksonville, FL to be responsible for maintaining, deploying and reviewing performance analysis for new User Interface/Services product offering developed internally. Interface with the Development organization, Project Managers, Professional Services, Network, Security and Server OS support teams. Deploy Unity and surrounding products on new virtual servers. Work with engineers for deploying and maintaining Unity in UAT and production, pre-production and test and performance environments. Open technical cases with hardware and software vendors to resolve problems. Apply analytical problem-solving skills for complex multi-tiered applications. Troubleshoot utilizing Wireshark and browser development tools. Utilize automation software to conduct diagnostic work for the root cause of any issue and testing / planning of disaster recovery. Provide feedback to Development on improvements in serviceability. Deploy Unity and surrounding products on new virtual servers. Work with engineers located locally and overseas. Deploying and maintaining Unity in UAT & production, pre-prod and test and performance environments. Open technical cases with hardware & software vendors to resolve problems. Provide diagnostic work to get to root cause of any issues. Perform disaster recovery testing / planning. Provide feedback to Development on improvements in serviceability.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer and Information Science or related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation: working with SQLServer Database technologies to support tenant database for Decisions workflow and Unity Macrim applications; working with IDP / SSO, WAF to configure external security for the Unity and UFI applications; working with Windows Server 2016, 2019, and Windows security; utilizing IIS, Apache (reverse proxy) for support of Unity, Global Office, BBGP, UFI applications; and working with load balanced applications for Unity, Global Office, BBGP, UFI applications to support high availability. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree in the above listed fields and three (3) years of experience in the above listed skills.
