Job summary

Foxhole Technology is seeking a System Administrator to provide essential IT and cybersecurity support for DoD-related environments. You will manage user accounts, permissions, and core services while adhering to RMF controls and STIG directives.

Role requires Active Secret clearance with TS eligibility and at least 1 year in IT support or systems administration. Certification at IAT Level II (e.g., Security+ CE) is required, with experience in Windows Server or Linux environments.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance with eligibility for TS required.
• 1+ year of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar IT role.
• DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g. CompTIA Security+ CE).
• At least 1 year of experience in IT support, help desk, or systems administration.
• Familiarity with Windows Server or Linux systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine system tasks such as user account setup, password resets, and access permissions.
• Monitor system functionality and help diagnose hardware and software-related issues.
• Support the rollout of updates, patches, and antivirus solutions in compliance with DoD cybersecurity directives (STIGs/IAVM).
• Help maintain core services like Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy under the guidance of senior administrators.
• Contribute to security compliance efforts through RMF-based control implementation.
• Aid in updating system documentation, including configuration records and procedural guides.
• Assist in executing backup and restoration procedures to ensure system continuity.
• Provide operational support for cybersecurity tools such as HBSS, ACAS, and SIEM technologies.
