Qualifications

• 10 years relevant experience with Bachelor's in related field; 8 years with Masters; or 14 years with HS diploma.
• Certifications such as MSCE, CSEP, CCNA, CISSP are preferred.
• Active Secret Security Clearance and US Citizenship are required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems with coordination of network admins.
• Sets up administrator and service accounts; maintains documentation and system performance.
• Evaluates vendor products and makes hardware/software recommendations; coordinates installs.
• Develops and monitors policies for allocation of computing resources; ensures security posture.
• Handles installation, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting and operations of IT hardware/software.
• Maintains knowledge of network and computer hardware/software interconnection (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.).
• Evaluates new network technologies to enhance capabilities.
