Job summary
CFS is seeking a Systems Administrator to support, optimize, and secure a complex enterprise IT infrastructure. The role focuses on large-scale modernization, infrastructure projects, and technical leadership within a hands-on IT team.
The ideal candidate has deep Microsoft technologies experience, virtualization expertise, and strong security acumen. Office 365/Azure administration and documentation are key components of daily responsibilities.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of progressive Systems Administration experience in a mid-size to enterprise environment.
- VMware virtual environments administration and support expertise.
- Windows Server administration, deployment, hardening, and troubleshooting.
- Experience managing Microsoft 365 environments including Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Defender, and Purview.
Responsibilities
- System Maintenance & Monitoring; install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and related hardware/software.
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
- Apply patches and updates to maintain security and stability.
- Rack and stack IT equipment (Servers, PDUs, etc.).
- User account, permissions, and access control administration; provide staff training on IT systems.
- Respond to helpdesk tickets promptly; provide technical support.
- Implement security protocols, firewalls, antivirus, and data protection practices; conduct audits and risk assessments.
- Develop and maintain backup strategies and disaster recovery plans; test recovery procedures.
- Office 365 and Azure administration; deploy and maintain cloud services.
- Document configurations and procedures; generate system performance and incident reports.
