Job summary

Tulzi Technologies, LLC, based in Columbia, MD, is seeking a Mid Level Systems Administrator to support secure IT operations in public and private sectors. The role requires TS/SCI clearance, 2+ years of systems administration and strong vendor certifications.

The successful candidate will maintain enterprise systems, assist with incident response, and collaborate with engineers across the SDLC. Salary range is $120,000–$130,000 per year plus benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of systems administration and end-user support.
• Must hold TS/SCI clearance.
• IAT2 Certification: Security+, CASP, or CISSP.
• Vendor certifications in Microsoft, VMware, Cisco, NetApp, Pure Storage, HP, Dell, Linux+ or RedHat.

Responsibilities

• Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, coordinating with network and systems engineers.
• Monitors and manages system resources (CPU, disk, response times) to maintain efficiency.
• Performs system security administration and user account management.
• Installs system-wide software, tunes performance, maintains documentation.
• Interacts with users; handles service inquiries and problems; supports IT implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Installs and troubleshoots workstations, thin clients, printers/scanners, phones and related IT equipment.

Description: Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network and systems engineers. Monitors and manages system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to maintain operating efficiency. Performs systems security administration functions, including creating user profiles and accounts. Other duties may include setting up administrator accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software. Interacts with users. Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery. Interact with customers to handle service inquiries and problems. Provide support to the implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems. Distinguish isolated user problems from enterprise-wide application/system problems. Coordinate with customers and stakeholders to collect data, conduct analysis, develop, and implement solutions associated with incident tickets and requirements. Duties include examining customer problems and implementing appropriate corrective action to initiate a repair or return. Analyze recurring problems, annotating, and initiates solutions for preventing reoccurrence. Work with systems and network engineers in implementing enterprise wide systems and technologies. Ability to install and troubleshoot workstations, thin clients, applications, printers/scanners, phones, and various other IT equipment.

Career level with a complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts. Working under only general direction, provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions.

2+ years of experience in systems administration and end-user support.
