Tulzi Technologies, LLC in Columbia, MD is seeking a Security Engineer to design, implement and maintain secure IT infrastructure in support of public and private sector clients.

This role requires TS/SCI clearance, 2+ years of experience, and hands-on work with RMF, STIG, and security tooling such as HBSS and ACAS. You will ensure system hardening, patching, and incident response.

Qualificações

• 2+ years of experience in implementing IT system security on network enterprise environments.
• Must hold TS/SCI clearance.
• IAT3 CASP or CISSP and IASE2 CASP, CISSP, or CSSLP certifications.
• Vendor certifications listed include Microsoft, VMware, Cisco, Netapp, Pure Storage, HP, Dell, Linux+, RedHat, HBSS, ACAS or similar.
• Experience with RMF, STIG, IAVA and security tooling deployment and management.
• Ability to upgrade and harden systems and document SSPs.

Salary Range: $115-125k/yr

Description: The Security Engineer is responsible for effective design, implementation, operation, and maintenance and troubleshooting of the IT infrastructure. This includes server administration, virtualization, performance tuning, backup and restore, and storage. The security engineer leads in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure and ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values. Upgrade systems by implementing and maintaining security controls and maintaining IAVA, STIG and RMF compliance. Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure / add new services as necessary. Implement, manage, and maintain security tools and applications such as WSUS, HBSS, ACAS. Performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required. Analyze, diagnose and determine root cause of issues, test, communicate, and either resolve or escalation for resolution appropriately. Evaluate and recommend tools and products for enterprise IT systems. Designs, develops and implements security requirements within an organization’s business processes. Prepares and maintains documentation to support SSPs and other RMF related requirements. Recommends and implements system enhancements to improve security deficiencies. Secures system configurations and installs security tools, scans systems in order to determine compliancy and report results and evaluates products and various aspects of system administration. Provides assistance in computer incident investigations. Performs vulnerability assessments including development of risk mitigation strategies.
