Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking an experienced IBM MQ & ACE Administrator to support mission-critical messaging infrastructure for a leading financial services client in Owings Mills, MD. This hybrid role requires on-site support two days a week and offers a 12-month contract.

The administrator will manage IBM MQ and ACE environments, install and patch platforms, assist with environment management and security, and provide Linux-based scripting support.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of IBM MQ Administration experience.
• Hands-on experience with IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE/IIB) Administration.
• Strong Linux administration and Shell/Bash scripting skills.
• Experience with troubleshooting, upgrades, and security patching.
• Ansible scripting/playbooks is a plus.
• AWS experience is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform environment management, vulnerability remediation, and production support.
