Job summary

Carolina IT LLC seeks an experienced IT Administrator to manage and upgrade client software, hardware and networks, ensuring OS integrity. You will design, script, test, and document configurations, install servers, perform maintenance, and respond to issues with patches and fixes.

Required are deep experience in SharePoint, AD, IIS, SQL Server, and powerShell; Azure and O365 administration; and RAID/backup expertise. On-site SC operations supported.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in SharePoint Administration and Architecture.
• 5+ years of experience in Active Directory.
• 5+ years of experience in Microsoft IIS.
• 5+ years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server.
• 5+ years of experience in PowerShell, Workflow, InfoPath, SharePoint Designer.
• 3+ years of experience administrating Azure.
• 5+ years of experience administrating O365.
• 3+ years of Hyper-V and VMware administration.
• 5+ years managing Antivirus platforms/EDR.
• Extensive analysis experience for problem determination.
• SharePoint version migrations (2016 to 2019).
• Windows Server migrations (2012 to 2019).

Responsibilities

• Maintain, upgrade and manage client software, hardware and networks and support OS environment integrity.
• Design, configuration, scripting, testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Install and configure new servers and networks.
• Perform system maintenance: backup, recovery, firmware updates, patching.
• Respond to user reports, troubleshoot software patches/fixes and system performance.
• Experience with databases and networks (LAN/WAN) and patch management.
• Knowledge of Security/EDR and Antivirus platforms.
• Troubleshoot/restore RAID configurations and HDD failures.
• Manage user accounts and passwords.
• Monitor software licensing and maintenance agreements.
• Prepare activity/status reports for assigned duties.

• Ability to maintain, upgrade and manage many of our client’s software, hardware and networks and supports the integrity of the operating system environment and various computer systems

• Responsible for design, configuration, scripting, testing, debugging, and documentation

• Installing and configuring new servers and networks.

• Performs systems maintenance tasks, such as system back-up, recovery, firmware updates, security patching and file maintenance.

• Responds to customer reports of problems, system performance anomalies, and /or general inquiries. Includes application code troubleshooting and design, programming, testing, and debugging of software patches/fixes

• Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management

• Knowledge of Security/EDR and Antivirus platforms

• Ability to troubleshoot/restore RAID configurations and HDD failures

• Adding, removing, or updating user account information, resetting passwords, etc.

• Monitors and maintains software licensing and maintenance agreements

• Prepares activity and status reports regarding the activities to which they are assigned, and any other duties and/or responsibilities as may be determined appropriate by the employees direct supervisor.

Qualifications:

Bachelors in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline; professional certification (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)
