Job summary

FIS is seeking a Systems Administrator to maintain and support critical server and end-user infrastructure across Windows, virtualization, cloud and application environments. You’ll deploy and support technologies, troubleshoot issues, and help ensure reliable system performance for on-site operations in New York.

Qualifications

• Experience with Windows Server administration, VMware virtualization, Active Directory, Exchange and end-user systems.
• Proficient in PowerShell for infrastructure administration and working with server hardware, hypervisors or VMware ESXi.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, SMTP, LDAP, DNS and network monitoring.
• Familiar with ITIL practices, change management and SLA benchmarks; exposure to deployment tools such as BigFix or Configuration Manager.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Windows Server, Windows desktop, VMware and Citrix environments, including server builds and application infrastructure.
• Manage and maintain server environments across hosted, on-premises and cloud environments, and provide advanced troubleshooting for outages.
• Perform proactive system maintenance, support vulnerability and audit remediation, and improve processes to strengthen performance.
• Support application deployments, infrastructure changes and multi-tier applications with incident management teams.
• Serve as a technical resource for Active Directory, Exchange, networking protocols and related infrastructure technologies.
