University at Buffalo’s Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS) is seeking a Systems Administrator II to leverage cutting-edge technologies and expertise in computing and information systems to develop, manage, and support sophisticated IT services, including server and cloud environments.

The role is campus-based with the possibility of hybrid-work, and you will provide on-premises and cloud IT system support, design and implement infrastructure, and collaborate across teams in UB Information

• Design and implement new on-premises and cloud IT infrastructure and systems
• Communicate professionally & effectively with teammates, management, peers, colleagues, and university constituents
• Maintain and improve technical and professional knowledge and skills

Job description

Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS) at the University at Buffalo is searching for a Systems Administrator II to utilize cutting-edge technologies and their expertise in computing and information systems to develop, manage, and support sophisticated IT services including server and cloud services. They play a pivotal role in maintaining the operational excellence of UB, recognized as the top public research university in New York and ranked among the top 40 public universities nationwide. This is a campus-based position with the possibility of hybrid-work.
