Qualifications

  • Experience with Windows system administration and cloud/identity technologies.

Enterprise Infrastructure Services ( EIS ) at the University at Buffalo is searching for a Systems Administrator I to utilize cutting‑edge technologies and their expertise in computing and information systems to develop, manage, and support sophisticated IT services including server and cloud services. They play a pivotal role in maintaining the operational excellence of UB, recognized as the top public research university in New York and ranked among the top 40 public universities nationwide. This is a campus‑based position with the possibility of hybrid‑work.
Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide on‑premises and cloud IT system support, including windows servers
  • Participate in design and implementation of new on‑premises and cloud IT infrastructure and systems
  • Communicate professionally & effectively with teammates, management, peers, colleagues, and university constituents
  • Maintain and improve technical and professional knowledge and skills
  • Work as part of a team

Minimum Qualifications
