Job summary

SCS Engineers is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator focused on our Deltek Vantagepoint ERP platform. You will act as the technical lead for system configuration, upgrades, integrations, and reporting development to support Finance and IT operations.

The role requires 4+ years of ERP administration experience with Deltek Vantagepoint or a similar ERP, strong SQL/T-SQL skills, and hands-on SSRS/PowerBI reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field preferred.
• 4+ years of ERP systems administration experience with Deltek Vantagepoint/Vision or a comparable ERP platform with a focus on Finance.
• Advanced experience writing and optimizing SQL/T-SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining SSRS and/or PowerBI reports.
• Experience with ERP integrations and data exchange between enterprise systems preferred.
• Familiarity with data governance, security best practices, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical subject matter expert for the Deltek Vantagepoint ERP platform.
• Manage and support ERP environments, including production, testing, and disaster recovery.
• Lead technical activities related to system upgrades, patches, failover testing, and environment management.
• Diagnose and resolve complex system issues, engaging vendors and internal stakeholders as needed.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for reporting, integrations, and data validation.
• Conduct data audits and implement controls to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Design, develop, and maintain SSRS reports to support operational and strategic reporting needs.
• Partner with Finance, Marketing, Business Development, and other teams to deliver recurring and ad hoc reporting solutions.
• Administer user security, access controls, roles, and permissions per policies and compliance.
• Safeguard sensitive data by enforcing security practices and governance standards.
• Create and maintain documentation for configurations, customizations, processes, and support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and system enhancements.

SCS Engineers is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator focused primarily on our ERP system to serve as the primary technical expert for our Deltek Vantagepoint environment. This role is responsible for ensuring the stability, security, performance, and continuous optimization of our ERP platform, supporting critical business operations across the organization. As a key member of the Financial Systems team, you will lead the technical administration of Deltek Vantagepoint, including system configuration, upgrades, integrations, advanced troubleshooting, and reporting development. You will collaborate closely with Finance, IT, business stakeholders, and vendor partners to deliver a reliable, scalable, and high-performing ERP environment that supports the evolving needs of the business. This position offers a remote work arrangement within the Pacific or Mountain Time Zones.

• Build strong partnerships with vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to support system performance, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
