Job summary

SHR Consulting Group, LLC seeks Systems Administrators to operate and maintain the DoD Organizational Messaging enterprise, including AMHS, ECGS, and CDS suites. You will work on geographically clustered, active‑active messaging platforms across DoD and U.S.

government networks, ensuring message access, filtering, and routing with strong security controls. The role requires experience with DoD messaging, Windows/Linux administration, and PKI/TLS concepts, with on‑site Pentagon/National Capital

Qualifications

• Experience with DoD organizational or record messaging platforms; Telos AMHS/ECGS preferred.
• Experience administering clustered, geographically dispersed environments.
• Windows Server and/or Red Hat Linux administration in messaging contexts.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL and IIS in messaging applications.
• Familiarity with PKI, cryptographic keys, and cross-domain concepts.
• DoD or large enterprise IT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate large‑scale messaging systems for access, search, and management.
• Manage profile libraries, folders, and advanced message filtering.
• Monitor distributed apps, OS, and network connections; resolve config issues.
• Handle message precedence processing and alert on priority handling.
• Oversee ECGS/Mailroom libraries; perform manual failover to alternate site.
• Troubleshoot serial/ network ports; protocol analysis as needed.
• Provision and test secure terminal equipment connections; manage keys.
• Provide system admin for Linux components and Oracle CDC synchronization.
• On‑site admin for classified ITS node; escalate to NSA Tier III as needed.
• Configure protocols for DOIs and support CAC TLS encryption.
• Support Syndeo Gateway app/server; validate protocol conversions.
• Monitor cross‑domain traffic via Radiant Mercury CDS interface.
• Coordinate with connected sites and generate monthly IPR reporting.
