Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Systems Administrator to maintain and modernize critical network infrastructure supporting Army training and simulations. You will manage networking, security updates, and vulnerability responses while collaborating with customers and teammates to plan, test, and implement improvements.

The role requires at least 2+ years in network administration, an IAT Level II Security+ CE certification, and the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience implementing and managing network policies, procedures, and standards and enforcing security procedures
• Experience monitoring, analyzing, troubleshooting, and evaluating hardware, software, and network problems
• Knowledge of new technologies related to computer networking and new hardware or software products for system enhancements
• Ability to meet with clients to plan, analyze, design, and test computer applications to ensure that computer software and applications adhere to the organizational plan
• IAT Level II Security+ CE Certification
• HS diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

• Ensure current infrastructure is functional and available
• Identify, implement, and apply improvements to optimize infrastructure performance
• Monitor network performance and plan capacity growth
• Patch and update critical systems with latest technology and best practices
• Support Joint Land Component Constructive Capabilities integration and modernization efforts
