Air Apps, a Lisbon-born, San Francisco-based startup, is hiring a Systems Administrator to manage corporate IT infrastructure, user access, and SaaS tools, ensuring a secure and efficient work environment. You’ll oversee device management, network security, access control, and IT support for the entire organization.

The role requires hands-on expertise with cloud-based environments, IAM tools, endpoint management, and security best practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in IT administration, systems administration, or IT support.
• Experience managing cloud-based corporate IT environments (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, AWS or Azure).
• Proficiency with IAM tools (Okta, Azure AD, JumpCloud).
• Knowledge of endpoint management solutions (Jamf, Intune, Kandji).
• Familiarity with network security, VPNs, firewalls, and zero-trust models.
• Experience with IT automation and scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python).
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Strong IT compliance knowledge (GDPR, SOC 2) and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving in a fast-paced, remote-first setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain corporate IT infrastructure, SaaS apps, cloud services, and internal systems.
• Oversee user access, provisioning, and identity management across platforms (Google Workspace, Okta, Azure AD).
• Ensure network security, endpoint protection, and data encryption policies.
• Monitor and optimize hardware and software performance; troubleshoot issues.
• Implement IT security best practices, including MFA and RBAC.
• Maintain and support company-wide SaaS tools (Slack, Zoom, Notion, Atlassian).
• Assist onboarding/offboarding by configuring and deactivating accounts.
• Automate IT operations, workflows, and system monitoring to boost efficiency.
• Maintain software licenses, compliance, and IT documentation.
• Provide technical support and training to employees.
