Role: Systems Administrator - Citrix

Location: Onsite in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Pay Range: $80,000 - $150,000 / year depending on experience

**Onsite requirement - Must be authorized to work in the United States now, and in the future, without assistance.

Overview:

Our client is seeking a Citrix Systems Administrator to oversee the management, maintenance, and optimization of their virtual desktop and application infrastructure. This role requires strong experience with Citrix technologies, system administration, and troubleshooting within an enterprise environment. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who can ensure a seamless end-user experience while maintaining system security and efficiency.

Citrix Administration & Support:

• Maintain and manage Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, ensuring stability and high availability.
• Perform system updates, patches, and routine maintenance to enhance performance and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Citrix-related issues, minimizing downtime and disruptions.
• Configure and support Citrix StoreFront, Citrix ADC (NetScaler), and Profile Management.
• Optimize virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) and application delivery to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure that the environment meets organizational needs and performance expectations.
• Utilize monitoring tools to analyze system health and proactively address potential issues.

Active Directory & Security Administration:

• Manage Active Directory (AD) integration, user authentication, and Group Policy settings for Citrix environments.
• Implement and monitor security policies and best practices to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Support identity and access management, including multi-factor authentication (MFA) and role-based access control.

Infrastructure & System Maintenance:

• Administer storage, network, and compute resources that support Citrix workloads.
• Ensure seamless integration of Citrix environments with Windows Server and Windows Desktop platforms.
• Work closely with infrastructure teams to align resources for optimal performance.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery strategies to ensure business continuity.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience administering enterprise level environments.
• Experience working with virtualization and storage technologies such as VMware, Nutanix, or SAN solutions.
• Knowledge of networking, security protocols, and infrastructure best practices.
• Familiarity with enterprise IT compliance and regulatory standards.
• Any Citrix certifications.
