Job summary

Base-2 Solutions, LLC is seeking a Systems Administrator 2 to support the OSINT Integration Center under the DOMEX Technology Platform contract. The role focuses on Linux and Windows administration, performance optimization, and user support in a secure government environment.

Responsibilities include building and patching Linux/Windows systems, enforcing DISA STIGs, deploying Kubernetes and related tools (Kubernetes, Rancher, Helm), and scripting with Python or PowerShell.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with ability to obtain a CI Polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of three years of experience in the category field; two additional years may substitute for degree.
• Expertise in Linux systems administration (RHEL/CentOS, Ubuntu).
• Experience with patching and virtual server builds.
• Familiarity with Agile project management and security requirements derivation.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience in air-gapped environments.
• Ability to obtain Privileged User Account certification by the Government.

Responsibilities

• Perform Linux and Windows builds, installations, configurations, administration, and troubleshooting.
• Implement and enforce DISA STIG compliance across systems and networks.
• Develop and maintain server builds for virtual and physical environments.
• Manage and deploy Kubernetes, Rancher, and Helm.
• Develop scripts for patching, configuration, and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Use Salt and Ansible for infrastructure automation.
• Administer AWS cloud environments including provisioning, monitoring, and optimization.
• Provide service desk coverage 6 AM–6 PM, Monday to Friday, on a rotational basis.
