Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Systems Administrator II to support the OSINT Integration Center under the DOMEX Technology Platform contract. The role focuses on Linux and Windows administration, performance optimization, and user support in a security-conscious environment.

The ideal candidate holds an active TS/SCI with CI poly and a bachelor's degree with three years of experience (or equivalent). Expertise in RHEL/CentOS, Ubuntu, scripting, and infrastructure automation is required.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with ability to obtain a CI Polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of three years of experience; two additional years may substitute the degree.
• Expertise in Linux systems administration (RHEL/CentOS, Ubuntu).
• Experience with patching and virtual server builds.
• Familiarity with Agile project management and security requirements derivation.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Experience working in air-gapped environments.
• Ability to obtain Privileged User Account certification by the Government.

• Administer AWS cloud environments including provisioning, monitoring, and optimization.
• Provide service desk coverage between 6 AM and 6 PM, Monday through Friday, on a rotational basis.

• Experience with Active Directory in a Linux environment.
• Background maintaining AI/ML environments and large data storage solutions.

Required Education and Experience Equivalency

• High School Diploma/GED with 5 years of experience.
• Associates Degree with 5 years of experience.
• Bachelors' Degree with 3 years of experience.
• Masters' Degree with 3 years of experience.
• PhD with 3 years of experience.
